Staying the night on Koh Talu lets you see the island after the day visitors leave: squid fishing as the sun goes down, a sky full of stars, a hike up to the viewpoint at sunrise, and time to snorkel and do nothing at all. The island is a 15-20 minute speedboat ride from the mainland, and a shared van to the pier and back from your hotel or villa is part of the package.
Rooms are spread over two bays. The wide, calm Ao Yai (Big Bay) has white sand, the beach club, clubhouse, a swimming pool and the sea turtle nursery. Ao Mook (Pearl Bay) is a small, quiet cove with coral reef just offshore, suited to a simpler stay close to nature.

Is transport to Koh Talu included in the overnight package?
Yes. A shared van collects you from your hotel or villa (06:30 in Hua Hin), the 10:00 speedboat crosses in 15-20 minutes, and you are dropped back in Hua Hin at around 18:45 on your last day.
What are the Koh Talu overnight prices?
For 2 days 1 night it is ฿5,700, ฿6,300 or ฿7,400 per person, and for 3 days 2 nights ฿8,400, ฿9,500 or ฿10,700, depending on whether you pick the Home & Beach Chalet, Manila Deluxe Chalet or Thai Style Ocean Villa. These are twin-sharing rates before 7% VAT; staying alone adds 30%.
Which meals and activities are covered?
You get three meals plus lunch on the day you leave, the snorkelling trip from the sea raft, kayaks and paddleboards all day, a sunrise hike, squid fishing at sunset and drinks at the clubhouse. The van and return speedboat are included too.
Why choose 3 days 2 nights?
Two-night guests also get a seafood barbecue dinner and a 30-minute catamaran sail at no charge, plus another sunset and sunrise and time at the turtle nursery. Each additional night is from ฿2,700 per person.
Can children stay on Koh Talu?
Yes. Ages 4-10 (or 80-140 cm tall) receive a 30% discount, and children under 4 stay free with just ฿700 for the round-trip van. The Home & Beach Chalet takes up to 6 people.
Do prices go up over holidays?
A supplement of ฿500 per person per night applies on long weekends and holidays (24-25 Dec 2026 and 13-15 Apr 2027). On 31 Dec, the New Year's Eve gala dinner is mandatory at ฿1,000 per person.
Is there electricity and WiFi on the island?
There is mobile signal and WiFi, but the generator is switched off 9-11am and 2-5pm during activity hours. Rooms are available from 14:00 and must be vacated by 11:00, and calm seas are most likely from mid-January to October.
