Koh Talu is a private island with just one resort, reached by a 15-20 minute speedboat ride from the mainland. The water is clear, there are coral reefs to snorkel over and the beach stays quiet, which makes it an easy full day out from Hua Hin.
The shared van collects you at your hotel or villa in Cha-Am, Hua Hin, Khao Takiab or Pran Buri and drives you to the resort's private pier in Bang Saphan. If you would rather dive than snorkel, there is a scuba diving day trip for certified divers and for beginners who want to try.

Is transport from Hua Hin to Koh Talu included?
It is in the ฿2,800 package: a shared van collects you from your hotel or villa (06:30 in Hua Hin) and drives you to the private pier in Bang Saphan. From there the speedboat crossing takes 15-20 minutes, and drop-off in Hua Hin is around 18:45.
What does a Koh Talu day trip cost?
It is ฿2,800 per person including the shared van, or ฿1,700 per person if you make your own way to the pier for the 10:00 speedboat. VAT of 7% is added on top.
Do children pay less?
Yes - 30% less for ages 4-10 (or a height of 80-140 cm). Under-4s go free and pay only ฿700 for the van, round trip.

The sea is calmest from mid-January to October. From November to mid-January it is monsoon season, so check the forecast before booking.
