The Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand takes in elephants, bears, primates and many other animals, giving them rescue and rehabilitation. On this visit you see that work up close, in a setting that is both ethical and educational.
The morning starts with a pickup from your hotel or villa and a drive of about 30 minutes to the centre. A guided tour takes you round the rescue centre, followed by free time to explore on your own before the return trip. Your WFFT entry, the guided tour and a donation to the foundation are all part of the price. As this is an ethical facility there is no riding and no direct contact with the animals, and it is a trip we particularly recommend for families.
