Scenic lakeside market village
Despite the name, this is more of a charming market built around a lake rather than a traditional floating market with boats full of goods. Designed to recreate the 1920s era with wooden boardwalks, traditional Thai houses, and vendors selling crafts, food, and souvenirs. Popular for photos and a relaxed afternoon out.
88/8 Soi Hua Hin 112, Thap Tai

Great for photos in the late afternoon light. A mini train loops around the market, and you can take a boat ride on the lake for extra fun!
Most vendors don't accept cards. ATMs are nearby but carry enough baht.
Haggling is expected at night markets. Start at 60–70% and negotiate with a smile.
Markets involve lots of walking. Fresh markets can have wet floors.
Beat the crowds by arriving when markets open. Fresh markets are best early morning.
Markets can be hot. Visit in the evening or take breaks in air-con shops.
Keep valuables secure in crowded areas. Use a crossbody bag.
